What is AFRDS?

The Association of Fund-Raising Distributors & Suppliers (AFRDS) is a trade association devoted exclusively to the product fundraising industry. Its member companies manufacture, supply and/or distribute products that are re-sold by not-for-profit organizations for fundraising purposes.

AFRDS and its members are dedicated to promoting professionalism and integrity in product fundraising. AFRDS members ascribe to an industry Code of Ethics and Standards for Professional Practice. Members participate annually in AFRDS workshops and seminars to stay current on the latest products, programs, innovations and techniques.

Distributors

Companies that market and distribute products to not-for profit organizations (e.g., schools, student clubs, PTAs, youth sports leagues, church groups, civic organizations) which re-sell the products for fundraising purposes.

Suppliers

Companies that produce, manufacture, import, broker or otherwise supply products or services for sale on a wholesale basis to distributors in the industry.

Affiliates

Companies that provide ancillary services to the industry, such as consultants, graphic artists, printers and publishers.
